Let me start by reiterating that my shop is a custom shop. I make every order for you, the customer, as it comes to me.
I do not sell any pick guards pre made.
What this means is that when you place an order I made that specific pick guard for you alone based on your needs at that time.
If you made a mistake in your order and you want to return it to me then that can be a bit of a problem.
It seems to me that many assume I can just take your return and sell it to someone else. Unfortunately that is not the case for a couple of reasons. One being it may be some time before someone else comes along with the same exact needs that you had. The other is keeping track of it all which is no easy task for me given the amount of work I have to do already or a regular basis.
If the mistake in the order is not my mistake then I will be charging a restocking fee from 25% to 50% depending on the situation and at my discretion. If there has been any kind of non standard modification to the order or if I know the particular configuration or material selection is not that common then you can definitely expect to pay a 50% restocking fee. If you decide to make a return because you don't like the material then a 50% restocking fee will apply. Shipping will not be refunded in either situation
There really should be no reason for mistakes in configuration or material selection or anything else on your end because I give several options and opportunities for you to evaluate things first. Some of these are:

• Laser Cut Mock Up for sale - $5.00
• Pick Guard duplication service - $10.00 to $20.00 in most cases

I am aware that some of what I offer does make your job cost a few dollars more and make it take a little longer but to me it seems logical that you would take advantage of certain services
to be sure of what you are getting rather than take chances or make assumptions that will cost you more in time and money in the long run.
If the mistake in the order is mine then I will replace the order for the correct part in exchange for the return of the incorrect part and if you request it, I will reimburse you for shipping up to the current US Priority Mail rate. In some cases I may not request that you return the mistake order, again at my discretion.
Mistakes do happen and I do appreciate your patience and understanding if your order has resulted in a mistake.
